And volunteers can offer to help Seniors navigate the range of free services and resources that are often somewhat complex and may need a steady hand - someone able to work through a process.

For a senior person to remain independent, there may be a need for caregiving.

Volunteers can provide simple caregiving such as companionship, socialization, help with transportation to grocery stores pharmacies and medical appointments, light housekeeping, and helping seniors take their medications.
